    John is an elder and member of the Board of Session at the First Presbyterian Church of Greenfield, a member of the Highland County Law Library Resource Board, a member of the Higland County and Ohio State Bar Associations, and a former board director for the Highland County Chamber of Commerce.

    John and Danielle were married on July 7, 2007 in the Greenfield United Methodist Church, and were high school sweethearts while attending school in Greenfield together.

    John Graduated High School from Edward Lee McClain High School in 2002 as Salutatorian.

    John and his wife returned to home after John Graduated Law School so they could raise their children in the hometown where they both grew up.

    John has been a practicing attorney in Highland County for the last 17 years working from his law office across the street from City Hall in Greenfield since 2009.

    John is the current Highland County Court Judge, and he has served as acting judge in the Chillicothe Municipal Court following the retirement of Judge Toni Eddy.

    John served as prosecutor and assistant law director for the City of Chillicothe from 2021 until 2025.

    John has had extensive experience in both felony and misdemeanor criminal work throughout his 17-year law career.

    John has handled civil litigation in the Federal United States District Court, the Ohio Supreme Court, and various other courts throughout Ohio.
